WTMJ Cares: Pass the Turkey- Executive Director Sherrie Tussler

WTMJ continues it’s WTMJ Cares: Pass the Turkey campaign with the Hunger Task Force. We are raising money to help give those in-need.. giving the gift of a turkey this year for the Thanksgiving holiday.

When WTMJ’s Melissa Barclay met up with Executive Director of Hunger Task Force Sherrie Tussler who was helping with a food drive in Milwaukee- handing out masks to cars that pulled up to the distribution and telling those people that they were getting a free turkey with their food box.

She tells Melissa that she’s seen an increase in food insecurity since the pandemic- especially for seniors.
