It’s that time of year. Bugs and beetles are looking for a warm place as winter approaches…including in your house.
PJ Liesch —the Wisconsin Bug Guy—is the director of the UW-Madison Insect Diagnostic Lab. He says there’s a new bug in town this year.
“It’s called the brown marmorated stink bug. And they’re about a half-inch long. Kind of a shield-shaped body.”
Liesch says if you find that bug in your house don’t squash it because of the pungent odor, but release it outside instead.
