A major revitalization project for the Northwestern Mutual Children’s Theater & Playzone is underway, Milwaukee World Festival announced Wednesday. The new Northwestern Mutual Community Park will be available during Summerfest, as well as the cultural and ethnic festivals. In addition, the park will be available during non-event days, encouraging the broader community to access the park throughout the summer.
“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the Northwestern Mutual Foundation to provide children and families of our community a fun and accessible entertainment experience,” said Don Smiley, President and CEO of Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. “The redevelopment of this area has been a priority for some time, and we cannot wait to see the children enjoying this new amenity.”
