A 14-year-old girl is one of two people who were shot and killed in separate incidents early Saturday morning in Milwaukee.
Police say the 14-year-old was riding in a car with her friends around 1:58 a.m. near Burleigh and 11th when they heard gunfire.
They quickly realized the girl had been hit by bullets and rushed her to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.
So far, no suspects have been arrested.

About 20 minutes after the first incident, officers were called to a residence near Locust and 76th where a 25-year-old Milwaukee man had shot his 24-year-old girlfriend.
She was taken to a hospital where she was also pronounced dead.
The 25-year-old man was arrested at the scene. Police say there is evidence of alcohol use in that homicide.
