Former Vice President Joe Biden’s wife, Jill, is stumping in Wisconsin today. Biden is addressing supporters in Eagle, Wisconsin. She also visited Madison earlier today.
The former second lady focused on healthcare, along with the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Joe [Biden] is the only candidate in this race with a plan to recover from this pandemic,” she told a crowd in Waukesha County. “He’s going to provide clear, evidenced-based–yes he believes in science–national guidance for businesses, schools and individuals created by public health experts.”
Dr. Biden was also joined by retired Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Janine Geske, who endorsed Biden last week.
“For 40 years I have not endorsed a single partisan candidate, but I decided this was the time to speak,” Geske said. “I could not remain silent as this race goes on, and the difference there is between the two candidates.”
Wisconsin is set to become campaign central again this week.
Eric Trump will be in Rothschild, Wisconsin Thursday.
President Trump will hold rallies in La Crosse and Green Bay on Saturday.
