Wisconsin has surpassed 100,000 COVID-19 cases.
The Department of Health Services says there were 1,665 positive test results on Sunday, September 20, 2020. That puts the statewide total during the pandemic at 101,227.
Sunday’s total cases is the second straight day for a decline, and it also helps to slow the rolling seven-day average for new daily cases to 1720. That is still a record high for the pandemic.
The total number of tests analyzed Sunday were 8,320. That puts the percentage of positive tests for September 20 at 20-percent. The rolling seven-day average for the positive percentage rate Sunday is at 16.3-percent, just below the record high of 16.4-percent which was set Saturday.
Currently, 14,143 cases are considered active in Wisconsin.
There was one new death reported Sunday due to COVID-19. That increases the pandemic total to 1,242.
