Police in West Bend have a 16-year-old in custody after students reported a suspicious Snapchat message Tuesday night.
The message read, “Don’t come to school tomorrow,” and included a bomb emoji, according to police.
Investigators say they took the teen into custody around 4:30 Wednesday morning for making a terrorist threat, bomb threat and disorderly conduct.
The teen denied placing any explosives, or having the intent to do so at the schools.
Police say nothing was found, but still had an increased presence at the schools on Wednesday.
