ORIGINAL STORY
MILWAUKEE- Former Vice President Joe Biden is campainging in Wisconsin today.
Biden arrived at Milwaukee’s Mitchell International Airport in a private jet around 11:30 this morning before departing the plane and heading to a motorcade that will presumably take him south to Kenosha later this afternoon.
Biden’s appearance in Wisconsin, and Kenosha comes just two days after President Donald Trump made an appearance of his own to meet with local business owners and tour businesses damaged in violent protests last week.
Biden, joined by his wife Dr. Jill Biden, is set to meet with the family of Jacob Blake, a black man shot in the back 7 times by Kenosha Police last Sunday, before making another campaign stop somewhere in Milwaukee.
This is Biden’s first time in Wisconsin since campaigning for US Senator Tammy Baldwin in 2018 and marks the first appearance by a democratic presidential nominee in the Badger State since President Barack Obama in 2012.
This story will be updated as Biden makes his way through his planned Wisconsin stops.
