Preparations are underway ahead of President Trump’s scheduled visit to Kenosha on Tuesday. During a news conference Monday afternoon, Mayor John Antaramian said he was concerned about the timing of the visit.
“It would be better for us to pull together and heal up the process,” the mayor explained. “It would’ve been nice had he waited a little while longer. It is what it is.”
Despite the mayor’s concern, several Kenosha County board members signed a letter asking the president not to cancel his trip.
“It’s the Commander-in-Chief and I think any kind of support is good,” Sup. Gabe Nudo told WTMJ.
