A fatal accident and fatal shooting took place in Milwaukee five minutes apart Sunday evening.
Milwaukee Police say they got word around 6:05 p.m. of a single-vehicle accident in the 400 block of South 86th Street.
They found a vehicle had crashed into the front of a home, also striking a 67-year-old Milwaukee man who was sitting in his front yard.
Members of the Milwaukee Fire Department performed life-saving measures of the victim, but he died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and has not been caught.
Police add that around 6:10 p.m. they got word of a double shooting in the 4400 block of North 58th Street.
A 20-year-old Milwaukee man died from a gunshot wound. An 18-year-old Milwaukee woman was also injured and is recovering from a non-life threatening injury in a hospital.
Police are investigating the circumstances which led to the shooting, with no word of any arrests.
