People looking to get off I-94 in Kenosha County may want to find an alternate route this evening.
The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department are using large trucks and their own squad vehicles to blocked off access to all off ramps in the county. That includes State Highways 50, 142, 158 and 165, as well as County Highways C and E.
A person with the department tells WTMJ this will continue as long as necessary to control the crowd of protestors in Kenosha.
Some exceptions will be made for those who are trying to get home or get to work, but their overall goal is to keep the flow of people in check who may be trying to join the protests in Kenosha.
The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department has also ordered a curfew for the part of the county east of I-94 from 8 p.m. Monday to 7 a.m. Tuesday.
