-1/2 cup butter
-1 tablespoon of dried minced onion
-3 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
-1 tablespoon of poppy seeds (optional)
-2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
-1 package of Hawaiian sweet rolls (12 count)
-1/2 pound of deli ham (more if you like)
-6 slices of Swiss cheese
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in dried onion, mustard, poppy seeds, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook and stir for 5 minutes or until everything is melted and mixed together.
- Slice the rolls in half and put the bottom of the rolls in the prepared baking dish. Spoon 2/3 of the butter mixture over the roll bottoms. Add ham and Swiss cheese to the rolls. Put tops of the rolls on top. Spoon or brush the remaining butter mixture on top of the rolls. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the oven for 15 minutes; then take out and remove the foil. Place the rolls back into the oven for another 5-10 minutes until browned.
