Milwaukee’s Police Chief and the Fire and Police Commission are headed for a showdown Monday night.
Chief Alfonso Morales and the FPC met for several hours Thursday night behind closed doors, reportedly discussing Morales’ job performance.
Following the meeting, the Commission called a special meeting where they plan to discuss, “directives” for Morales moving forward.
FPC Chairman Steven DeVougas remained tight-lipped after the meeting, telling assembled media that he wouldn’t have answers to any questions until Monday night.
Chief Morales, who signed a four-year contract in December, told the Journal Sentinel he had to speak with his attorneys before discussing last night’s meeting, saying he’s unsure of what Monday holds.
