MILWAUKEE- Milwaukee’s historically high homicide rate grows by two early Wednesday morning.
Milwaukee Police responding to two deadly shootings within a four hour span this morning.
The first occurring when police say a 28 year old man was shot around 4:40 a.m. on the 3900 block of W. Lloyd Street. The circumstances surrounding that shooting are still unknown. A police investigation continues.
Police then responded to a deadly shooting just before 8:30 this morning on the 5600 block of N. 65th Street. The victim is a 27 year old man from Milwaukee. Circumstances surrounding this shooting are also under investigation.
The deadly shootings this morning mark the 87th and 88th homicides in Milwaukee this calendar year.
