A report says that Milwaukee’s longtime development commissioner, and the deputy commissioner underneath him, will both be retiring.
Rocky Marcoux, 61, will leave his position once Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett finds a replacement, according to WTMJ news partner Milwaukee Business Journal.
Marcoux took the role of development commissioner in 2004. The city cites his work in helping to redevelop the Menomonee Valley, the Intermodal Station and the Park East Corridor along with other numerous projects.
The Business Journal also says Martha Brown, the deputy commissioner of development since 2004, is also retiring on Friday.
