New positive tests are coming in the Milwaukee area, with one announced for a western Milwaukee suburb.
Mayor Dan Devine of West Allis announced a positive test in his city Monday morning.
The West Allis Health Department received notification from the Wisconsin DHS that a person in West Allis has tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). The affected individual had recently returned to the United States from international travel.

Upon returning to the United States, the individual was experiencing symptoms consistent with potential COVID-19 exposure and immediately went to a Milwaukee area hospital for evaluation.

Following testing, the individual returned directly home and has remained under self-quarantine. It is extremely important to note that this individual did exactly as asked by local, state and federal recommendations.

To prevent spread of illness, West Allis Health Department is conducting a contact investigation to identify & follow-up with any people who had close contact w/ this individual.
