In an effort to keep students and others at UW-Whitewater safe during the growth of the Coronavirus pandemic, UW-Whitewater has announced it is extending spring break to two weeks.
When students return to class, they will not be doing it face-to-face. Instead, starting March 30, classes will be held through “alternative delivery” until at least April 17.
“I want to emphasize that there are no confirmed cases of the virus on the Whitewater or Rock County campuses. That is why we are taking decisive action now to lessen the risk to our community as much as possible,” said Chancellor Dr. Dwight Watson.
