MILWAUKEE- Members of the Marquette University family taking to social media in the hours after the Dean of the School of Business was struck and killed by a car Tuesday night.
Joe Daniels spent 30 years at Marquette, first as a staff member, then, more recently, as a Dean at the business school. Daniels was killed around 8 o’clock Tuesday evening when he was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street at 10th and Wisconsin near Marquette’s campus.
WTMJ’s Mike Spaulding sat down with Owen Raisch, who helps run Marquette’s Blue & Gold Ventures, which gives students an opportunity to run their own businesses while getting their degree, at their coffee shop, Vida Coffee, to talk about Daniels life and legacy at Marquette.
