Although their sibling rivalry might be competitive, the brotherly Bucks duo of Brook and Robin Lopez are joining forces to promote youth literacy.
The two centers spent their Wednesday afternoon reading to kids at Next Door Foundation in Milwaukee.
“It’s so important because reading has a special place in our hearts,” said Brook Lopez. “Our mom brought us up reading to us all the time, since we were babies.”
For every block the Lopez brothers tally this season, they’re donating $100 to the Next Door Foundation.
They’ve already amassed 157 to date, totaling $15,700.
“With our team, we have a lot of guys giving back to the community in different ways,” Brook said.
