Four children and three adults are being treated for injuries following a head-on collision on Milwaukee’s north side Friday morning.
Milwaukee Police say the two-vehicle accident took place near the intersection of North Hopkins Street and West Congress Street just after 10:30 a.m. The vehicle that caused the accident was speeding and lost control.
The Milwaukee Fire Department says they needed to extricate multiple people from the vehicles.
The adults were taken to Froedtert Hospital, and the children to Children’s Wisconsin, for treatment of their injuries. One was reported in critical condition, with three others in serious condition.
Milwaukee Police continue to investigate.
