A report says that Amazon.com is “in talks” to lease a nearly 750,000 square foot industrial building in Kenosha along I-41/94, with a goal of hiring 300 people and making it a distribution center.
WTMJ news partner Milwaukee Business Journal says that the company aims to lease the building owned by Logistics Property Co. near the I-41/94 and Highway 142.
If the companies make a deal, Amazon would reportedly have nearly seven million square feet of distribution centers in southeastern and southern Wisconsin.
The Milwaukee Business Journal says that Amazon has employed nearly 3,500 workers through the end of 2017.
