The team with the NBA’s best record is in the midst of one of the stranger weeks on the basketball calendar.
It’s not often teams have two afternoon games during the week, but following Monday’s MLK matinee the Bucks are in France getting ready to face the Charlotte Hornets Friday at 2:15 p.m, granted it will be nighttime in Paris.

“It’s been a blast,” Bucks guard Pat Connaughton told WTMJ’s John Mercure and Greg Matzek. “I had a few crepes this morning. It’s everything it’s cracked up to be and more.”
The team flew to Paris following Monday’s game against the Bulls at Fiserv Forum and have since taken in the Eiffel Tower as they prep for the first ever NBA game in the French capital.
“They’ve got security all around,” said Connaughton. “I think Paris has done a great job to make sure that we’ve felt welcome and safe at the same time.”
Connaughton joined John Mercure and Greg Matzek for “Bucks Insiders” on Wisconsin’s Afternoon News Thursday. Listen to their conversation above.
