Officer Michalski’s widow speaks at dedication

A tree and a bench were dedicated to the memory of Officer Michael Michalski at Manitoba Park Saturday. Michalski was shot and killed in the line of duty in July of 2018. His widow, Susan, speaking for the first time publicly since the tragedy, says the park was a special place her and her husband used to spend time together. She says she was overwhelmed by the love and support she has received since the tragic death of Officer Michalski. Susan is grateful there is now a permanent reminder of Mike in a place where they shared so many memories.
