The 8th annual Brewers Mini-Marathon will be taking place Saturday morning. That means there will be some disruptions when it comes to vehicle traffic on roadways around Miller Park.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office says the following roads will be closed to traffic starting at 6:15 a.m.:
-Miller Parkway northbound off ramp at Canal Street
-Southbound Miller Parkway on ramp to Canal Street on ramp to Miller Parkway
-Northbound I-43 off ramp to 10th Street and Michigan
-Eastbound I-94 off ramp to James Lovell
-Westbound I-94 off ramp to 25th Street, northbound only
-Eastbound I-94 off ramp to 25th Street
-Southbound 175 off ramp to Wells Street
They are expected to reopen around 9:30 a.m.
Milwaukee’s Department of Public Works adds that rolling road closures will take place as the races make their way along their routes. The longest closures will be on Frederick Miller Way, Selig Drive, Hawley Road and Wells Street.
There will be restrictions to parking on roads used for the races. The Milwaukee County Transit System will also have routes either detoured or delayed where their buses travel on the roads used for the races.
