Access to Holy Hill Basilica and Erin Hills from I-41/45 using Highway 167 is back to normal.
The Wisconsin DOT says the highway, also known as Holy Hill Road, opened back up Wednesday (August 28) at its intersection with Highway 164 with completion of a roundabout. The opening comes just in time for the Labor Day weekend, and the beginning of a new school year next week.
The roundabout is part of the seven-mile rehabilitation project for Highway 164 in Washington County. Work continues on the highway south of 167 and north of Friess Lake School. Weather permitting, the southern half of the project is expected to be completed by mid-September, with the northern half completed sometime in October.
