Reports out of the Middle East say that the nation of Iran has taken control of a British oil ship.
According to the BBC, Iran’s state television service says that their nation’s Revolutionary Guard has seized a “British-flagged oil tanker.”
CNN reported that according to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps report from state TV, they seized the tanker for “violating international regulations.”
A British official says that their government is investigating a tanker which was bound for Saudi Arabia, changing course to Iran.
