A Milwaukee woman is facing up to 25 years in prison in connection to a stabbing death at a Glendale motel on June 18, 2019.
Glendale Police say they got word around 1:25 a.m. that day of a stabbing at Motel 6 on Port Washington Road. Their investigation determined 46-year-old Jermaine F. Renix of Milwaukee died as a result of a stab wound to the chest.
Police arrested 28-year-old Shaniqua S. Alexander at the motel, believed to be an acquaintance of Renix.
Milwaukee County prosecutors charged her with one count of second-degree reckless homicide. Online court records show Alexander made her initial court appearance on June 22. Bond was set at $50,000 cash. Her preliminary hearing is set for July 2, 2019.
