The Beaver Dam Police Department received a 9-1-1 call around 2 p.m. on Saturday about a body that was found in the Beaver Dam River.
According to a press release, the Sheriff’s department along with the Beaver Dam Fire Department responded to the call made by two kayakers who found the body.
The medical examiner declared the body deceased at the scene. The identity is being withheld at this time.
The circumstances of the death are still being investigated.
