Five brothers were involved in a rollover accident on I-41 near Holy Hill Road May 29, 2019.
Germantown Police say they received multiple reports of the single-vehicle accident in the southbound lanes of traffic just after 4:45 p.m. Witnesses say they saw a 2003 Buick traveling at a high rate of speed, lost control, and rolled several times.
When emergency crews arrived, they found a 16-year-old Kewaskum male was driving the vehicle. The four passengers were his brothers, with ages 15, 13, 9 and 8. Three of the passengers were ejected from the vehicle with some sustaining serious injuries.
All five were taken to Children’s Hospital for treatment of injuries. No update on their conditions were provided as of several hours after the accident.
Traffic on I-41/45 southbound was taken off the interstate for two hours as Germantown Police, the Washington County Sheriff’s Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol conducted a traffic crash reconstruction.
An investigation continues.
