A report says that in the face of an order from the City of Milwaukee to demolish the long-abandoned Northridge Mall site, the owner of the property now has plans for it.
WTMJ news partner Milwaukee Business Journal says that the mall, owned by China-based U.S. Black Spruce Enterprise Group, Inc., plans to meet with the city about making the property an Asian goods merchandise mart.
The company also released renderings for the planned mart. The property, about 900,000 square feet, would involve an “Asian food court” as well.
They hope to meet with the city about the plan in June.
