UPDATE: 36-year-old Phillip Kallas was found early Monday morning.
West Allis Police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding a missing man with medical and cognitive issues.
Police say the mother of 36-year-old Phillip Kallas came to them to report him missing since the morning hours of May 26, 2019. The last contact she had with her son was with a phone call after he had left their home saying he was heading to a friend’s home.
The mother says her son was recently released from a mental health facility in Winnebago, Wisconsin (near Oshkosh). Kallas has been diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, paranoia and is manic. The mother fears her son has not been taking his medication since his return home, and he may not be able to care for himself.
Kallis stands about six-foot two-inches and weighs around 180-pounds. He has brown hair in short dreadlocks and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a tan shirt, baggy jeans with designs on the pockets, and black leather booths. He also has various tattoos on his arms that includes a demon, a tree branch, and a blue circle.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact West Allis Police at 414-302-8000.
