A robbery took place at the North Shore Bank branch in Brookfield May 16, 2019, but it wasn’t the bank’s money that was the target of the suspect.
Brookfield Police say the suspect entered the bank, located on West Bluemound Road, around 1:10 p.m. and was able to get entry to the building’s offices on the third floor. While there, he stole a purse containing multiple credit cards. He then left in a black SUV.
The suspect then went to Home Depot in Waukesha, where he attempted to use the stolen credit cards on numerous purchases.
The suspect is described as a black male standing around five-foot six-inches and weighing about 140 pounds. He was seen wearing a bright red shirt and matching bright red shoes.
Anyone with information on the suspect or having dealt with similar incidents is asked to contact Brookfield Police at 262-787-3702 and talk to Officer White.
