The Chicago Department of Public Health has confirmed a case of measles in Chicago on Saturday.
According to the department “exposures may have occurred on May 16th on public transportation from O’Hare Airport” to various locations around the city including University of Illinois Chicago campus.
The CDPH says health officials are working closely to contact individuals in the those areas who may have been exposed. This comes after reports of the increased risk of measles here in Wisconsin especially to children due to low vaccinations given.
