Deputies were seen searching the eastbound lanes along with the ramp from Highway 100 to I-94 eastbound, which was also closed.
Drivers were being directed to exit I-94 at Highway 100 or Moorland Avenue. Delays of 90 minutes were being estimated between Barker Road and Highway 100.
“Bright lights as far as the eye can see,” said WTMJ’s Doug Russell, who was stuck in the eastbound lanes while attempting to drive to Miller Park to cover the Brewers game.
“There’s nowhere to go.”
The Brewers themselves are warning fans coming from the west.
There is a major traffic incident on I-94 near HWY 100. Please plan your trip to Miller Park accordingly tonight.
