A man who initially pleaded not guilty to charges in the hit-and-run crash that took the life of a Milwaukee Department of Public Works employee has changed his plea.
Terron Clayborn, 31, pleaded guilty to charges of hit and run involving death and knowlingly operating a license while suspended.
His charges would lead to a maximum penalty of 31 years in prison. It was not initially revealed what the plea deal would involve.
The collision killed Bryan Rodriguez on Milwaukee’s north side on February 8. It took two weeks before police found and arrested him.
His sentencing is set for June 13 in Milwaukee.
