A Winter Weather Advisory has also been issued for Milwaukee, Waukesha, Jefferson, Dodge, Ozaukee, Washington, Racine, Kenosha, and Walworth Counties for Saturday, ending at 10 p.m.
“Our dry air has eaten away at a lot of the snow and the winter storm has shifted a bit south; combined these two factors will significantly reduce our snowfall amounts with this system,” said Storm Team 4’s Jesse Ritka.
“Most spots will be seeing 1-3″ of snow on grassy surfaces with the highest amounts still expected to be closer to the state line. Most of the snow will exit to our east by 10pm this evening but a breezy northeast wind may cause some blowing snow. Temperatures will hover near the freezing mark overnight with decreasing clouds.”
