The Milwaukee Milkmen, a new independent baseball team in Franklin, Wis., will have to move their home opening game back a month after winter weather forced a one-month delay in construction.
The team announced their home opener will be held on June 24 instead of May 24 at Routine Field in Franklin.
They will play these series instead in Kokomo, Indiana.
– vs. Chicago, May 24-26
– vs. Lincoln, May 31-June 2
– vs. Kansas City, June 3-6
– vs. Sioux Falls, June 11-13
– vs. Winnipeg, June 14-16.
The team says that their flexible ticket policy will allow fans to get refunds for another game. Season ticket holders would have their specific team representative call them about arrangements.
The Milkmen themselves made the announcement in a Facebook video.
