A Milwaukee Bucks legend is among the newest class of players to be inducted into the Naismith Hall of Fame.
Sidney Moncrief, who played 10 of his 11 years with the Bucks, is one the high-profile inductees in the class.
Earlier today, According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Moncrief would be inducted alongside Paul Westphal, Bobby Jones and Vlade Divac.
Sidney Moncrief has been elected into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame’s Class of 2019, sources tell ESPN. A formal announcement will come Saturday in Minneapolis. Moncrief was a five-time All-Star and five-time All-NBA guard with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Selected fifth overall by the Bucks in 1979, Moncrief was a five-time all-star and two-time Defensive Player of the Year. He spent 10 of his 11 seasons in Milwaukee.
Moncrief also helped Arkansas reach the Final Four in 1978.
Also included in the class of 2019 is Jack Sikma. He played his last five years in the NBA with the Bucks, helping to extend the team’s string of playoff appearances into the early 90s.
Marques Johnson, a teammate with Moncrief, was also a finalist for this year’s class.

The induction ceremony will take place September 6th at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts.
