Two law enforcement groups and the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner have gone to investigate a homicide either on or near the campus of Marquette University.
The investigation is happening on North 19th Street, south of Wisconsin Avenue. Two campus buildings and two parking lots border the east side of 19th Street, while a parking lot borders the west side of the street.
Milwaukee Police say the death happened at 9:30 a.m. The victim was 45 years old, and was found with a major head injury.
Marquette Police says the victim is not a Marquette student.
