A report says that the suspect in the murder of Carlie Beaudin in the parking lot of Froedtert Hospital has been ruled as incompetent to stand trial right now.
TODAY’S TMJ4 says that a judge has temporarily ended the court proceedings for Kenneth Freeman, 27, until he completes treatment for mental illness.
The report also says he is “likely to become competent upon treatment,” and another hearing has been scheduled for June 4.
A criminal complaint says that on January 25, Freeman confronted, attacked and killed Beaudin in the parking lot.
He faces a sentence of up to life in prison if he is convicted.
