There are many angles to the news of the City of Milwaukee getting the Democratic National Convention next year in the Brew City – such as the fact that it may be the most important event in the city’s history.
This beer-related angle is not one of the most important, but it may be the most appropriate: That the contract is blessed in beer.
During the official announcement of the Milwaukee 2020 Democratic convention, the parties involved signed an official agreement to host it next July 13-16.
What landed on the contract? Beer, apparently a slight amount spilled by Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes during a toast.
Watch.
