After another snow day, the calendar is adjusting for Milwaukee Public Schools to finish its school year.
MPS has canceled six days of school in the 2018-2019 year because of inclement weather. That means students in all grades will have a school day that’s five minutes longer for students in both K-8 and in grades 9-12.
In addition, students will be in school on previously scheduled days off.
For students grades K-8 on the early start calendar, those dates are Feb. 19, April 2, May 23 and 24.
Students grades K-8 on the traditional calendar will now be required to go into school Feb. 19, April 2, June 13 and 14.
Students grades 9-12 on the early start calendar will be required at school Feb. 19, April 2, May 20, 21, 23 and 24.
