When classes and office hours conclude at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, students and others won’t have any activity before Thursday afternoon.

The university is closing today at 5 pm and will remain closed until Thursday at noon. #StayWarm, everyone. #PolarVortex2019

The move follows that of Milwaukee Public Schools, the University of Wisconsin-Madison and UW-Whitewater.
Temperatures are forecasted to drop to near-all time record lows in the city of Milwaukee. The lowest temperature ever recorded in the city is -26.
