Flu infections are on the rise across the United States. As the flu season is just beginning to peak, numbers of people showing symptoms or are considered with the sickness skyrocket.
According to NBC News, an estimated 6 to 7 million people have had the flu so far this season. Up to 84,00 of those people were hospitalized.
The latest Center for Disease Control report lists flu activity in 30 states so far.
According to the CDC, flu seasons vary from year to year. This year, the season is unwrapping slower than those last year.
