Mother Nature, or perhaps a higher power, gave Milwaukee a sense of presence and peace as the city mourned the loss of Milwaukee Police Officer Michael Michalski during his funeral procession.
WTMJ listener Christa Metz Pelisek shared a photo of what she described below during the procession when the funeral service ended Wednesday afternoon.
“I was listening to your coverage of Officer Michalski’s funeral. As the the service outside ended prior to the procession I happened to be at a stop light, looked out the window and saw this heart with what looks like being held by two angel wings,” Christa typed.
Listener Sara Shertz-Baumgartner also shared a photo just south of Oak Creek as the procession was beginning. It was a rainbow, easily seen in many parts of the Milwaukee area.
