The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating what caused a body to be found near the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center Friday afternoon.
In a statement, the department says someone found the body of a male person around 1:20 p.m. partially in a lagoon on county ground between Wisconsin Avenue and Froedtert Hospital.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner has been called to the scene. The victim has not been identified.
