As the Packers prepare for their final two games of the 2018 season, they’ll do so knowing the playoffs aren’t a possibility.
These kind of seasons have come around often, but even the team’s all-time leading receiver knows sometimes it happens.
“Sometimes you have these rollercoasters,” said former Packers wide receiver Donald Driver, appearing at a Wisconsin tourism event in Milwaukee. “I still remember the year we went 4-and-12. I think the guys just need to understand they have to move on.”
Driver said the mindset for these remaining games shouldn’t change, and that includes whether or not players should sit out to protect their health.
“We are owned by the fans, said Driver. “Even if you have an owner, you have a contract you should stick to and you should play.”
