New details coming in about A diesel spill on the freeway shut down the northbound lanes of I-41/94 in Kenosha County for 11 hours Friday night into early Saturday morning. The accident occurred just before 5 p.m. Friday near County Road E. The southbound lanes were closed for about an hour due to debris in the roadway. No details have been released on what caused the accident — or if there were any injures.
A semi rollover has shut down all lanes of I-94 around the Kenosha/Racine county line.
The DOT says they are detouring traffic heading northbound off the interstate at exit 158. Vehicles will be taking the frontage road.
Southbound traffic is being taken off the interstate at County Road KR. They will be able to get back on at Highway 142.
The closure is expected to last several hours this evening.
