Sheboygan Police are continuing their investigation into the death of a man found inside a crawl space in a home.
Police were first called to the home on the 1300 block of Michigan Avenue Sunday after someone thought there was an overdose that occurred there. Police did a search, but found no one inside.
On Tuesday, another call was made to police about the home that a person might be hiding in it. Another search was conducted, and that is when the body of a man was discovered in the crawl space in a wall.
The person has been identified as 30-year-old Matthew Mercure of Sheboygan. The cause of death has not be officially determined, but the early indications are that of an overdose.
A 29-year-old woman has been taken into custody on a probation hold in connection to the incident.
