A person of interest is in custody for the deadly shooting of a 13-year-old girl, Milwaukee police said Tuesday.
Police say they were called to the area of 13th and Hopkins around 8 p.m. on Monday for shots fired. Inside a nearby home they found the girl injured by one of the bullets. Despite medical efforts at the scene, she was pronounced dead.
